TACSTD2 (tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2), also known as Trop2, M1S1, EGP1, GA733-1, gp50 and T16, is a single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the EPCAM family. It was originally defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733.  TACSTD2 may be formed by the retroposition of the EPCAM gene. TACSTD2 and EPCAM share ~49% amino acid identity and ~67% similarity.  TACSTD2 is highly expressed in a wide variety of epithelial cancers, while little or no expression in adult normal tissue. Storage

 

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months. 

 

 

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
