High Throughput Gene Cloning & Expression

G&P Biosciences has developed novel gene cloning and expression technologies that enable high-throughput, high-efficient, high-speed recombinant gene and protein production. Our cutting-edge technologies exhibit unprecedented speed and success in generating expression-ready gene clones and mammalian stable cells that yield high levels of soluble, active proteins. 

Our High Throughput Gene Cloning (HTGC) technologies rely on G&P HiFi™, the highest fidelity PCR enzyme developed in house for a wide array of molecular biology applications (see G&P HiFi™ PCR System for more details)  It offers an “all-in-one” solution for amplification of a specific DNA sequence, assembly of multiple DNA pieces, and circularization of linear DNA fragments.  Therefore it provides an efficient approach to truly sequence and ligation independent, “seamless” cloning (see the following topics of PCR & High Fidelity DNA Polymerases and PCR-mediated Cloning and Mutagenesis for more information).

Our High Throughput Gene Expression (HTGE) technologies leverage our HTGC capability to generate expression-ready gene clones/variants and take advantage of our unique mammalian cell expression system. In combination with our high throughput transfection and “quick” stable gene delivery methods, our expression system allows high speed, high efficient production of stable cells expressing gene of interest or yielding high levels of recombinant protein or antibody of interest (see the next topic of Protein & Antibody Production Technology and Protein in Research Resources for more information).
