IL22RA2 (interleukin-22 receptor subunit alpha-2) is a secreted protein belonging to the type II cytokine receptor family.  IL22RA2 is a soluble protein specifically binds to and inhibits IL22 activity by blocking the interaction of IL22 with its cell surface receptor. IL22RA2 may be important in the regulation of inflammatory response, and has been implicated in the regulation of tumorigenesis in the colon. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. The Isoform 2 is a receptor for IL22 and binds to IL22, prevents interaction with the functional IL-22R complex and blocks the activity of IL22. It may play an important role as an IL22 antagonist in the regulation of inflammatory responses. The isoform 1 may play a role in establishing and maintaining successful pregnancy.

Construct Details: Full length human IL22RA2 (isoform 2) gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without a selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells.  It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.

Storage

 

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months. 

 

 

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
