LILRA4 (Leukocyte immunoglobulin like receptor A4), also known as CD85g and ILT7 (Immunoglobulin-like transcript 7), is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin (Ig)-like receptor (LIR) family of the Ig superfamily (IgSF).  LIR family members are known to have activating and inhibitory functions in leukocytes.  LILRA4 belongs to the subfamily A class of LIR receptors (LILRAs), which are single-pass type I transmembrane proteins with 2-4 extracellular Ig-like domains, a transmembrane domain (TM), and a short cytoplasmic tail.LILRA3 contains 4 Ig-like C2 type domains in the extracellular region. LILRA4 is expressed predominantly on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (PDCs) and modulates the function of these cells in the immune response. Expression of the LILRA4 gene is down-regulated by interleukin 3 (IL3).  LILRA4 may act as receptor for class I MHC antigens. Ligand binding leads to the activation of eosinophils and to the release of RNASE2, IL4 and leukotriene C4.

Construct Details: Full length human LILRA4 gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells.  It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles.

Storage

 

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months. 

 

 

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
