Anti-TACSTD2/TROP2 Monoclonal Antibody, Human IgG1, Biotinylated, Recombinant
TACSTD2 (tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2), also known as Trop2, M1S1, EGP1, GA733-1, gp50 and T16, is a single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the EPCAM family. It was originally defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. TACSTD2 may be formed by the retroposition of the EPCAM gene. TACSTD2 and EPCAM share ~49% amino acid identity and ~67% similarity. TACSTD2 is highly expressed in a wide variety of epithelial cancers, while little or no expression in adult normal tissue. TACSTD2 is a cell surface receptor that transduces calcium signals and may play a role in tumor growth. TACSTD2 may also have cell adhesive functions. Mutations of the TACSTD2 gene are associated with gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy. TACSTD2 is a target for immunotherapy treatment of human carcinomas.
Gene Symbol: TACSTD2; EGP1; GP50; M1S1; EGP-1; TROP2; GA7331; GA733-1
NCBI Gene ID: 4070
Uniprot Entry: P09758
Construct Details: Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-human TACSTD2/TROP2 mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-human TACSTD2/TROP2 mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition.
Source: Mammalian cells stably expressing anti-TACSTD2/TROP2 heavy chain and light chain (in human IgG1k format) and growing in chemical-defined media with no animal components or antibiotics.
M.W.: Calculated molecular mass (kDa): 146 (49 kDa for a single HC, 24 kDa for a single LC); Estimated by SDS-PAGE under reducing condition(kDa): 50 kDa + 25 kDa
Purity: >95% judged by SDS-PAGE under reducing condition (see the gel image inserted).
Formulation: Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in sterile PBSpH7.4 (carrier and preservative free). The purified recombinant monoclonal antibody was labeled with Biotin (3-5 Biotin per IgG) using the standard procedure.
Endotoxin Level: <0.1 EU per 1 μg of purified recombinant protein determined by the LAL method
Biological Activity: Binds human TACSTD2/TROP2 protein (SKU#FCL2720) with high affinity (KD < 1nM) and specifically recognizes cell surface TACSTD2/TROP2 on human cells by flow cytometry, IHC staining and fluorescent microscopy.
