LILRA6 (Leukocyte immunoglobulin like receptor A6), also known as ILT8(Immunoglobulin-like transcript 8), is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin (Ig)-like receptor (LIR) family of the Ig superfamily (IgSF).  LIR family members are known to have activating and inhibitory functions in leukocytes.  It belongs to the subfamily A class of LIR receptors (LILRAs), which are single-pass type I transmembrane proteins with 2-4 extracellular Ig-like domains, a transmembrane domain (TM), and a short cytoplasmic tail. LILRA6 contains 2 Ig-like C2 type domains in the extracellular region. LILRA6 may act as receptor for class I MHC antigens.

Construct Details: Full length human LILRA6 gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells.  It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles.

 

Vector Type: pLTC (lentiviral expression vector containing a heterologous CMV promoter and with or without a marker, see the vector map above)

 

Formulation: Supplied with 10 μg of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA at 200 ng/μl in sterile TE buffer (pH8.0)

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months. 

 

 

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
