Description

CD200 is a single pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily (IgSF). CD200 contains 2 extracellular Ig-like V-type (IgV) and Ig-like C2-type (IgC2) domains, a transmembrane and a cytoplasmic domain. CD200 and CD200R1 interact via their respective N-terminal Ig-like domains. CD200 is expressed by various cell types, including B cells, a subset of T cells, thymocytes, endothelial cells, and neurons. CD200 plays an important role in immunosuppression and regulation of anti-tumor activity. CD200 co-stimulates T-cell proliferation and regulates myeloid cell activity in a variety of tissues.  Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms of CD200.

Construct Details: Full length human CD200 gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without an antibiotic selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells.  It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months. 

 

 

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
