Description

IL22RA1 (interleukin-22 receptor subunit alpha-1) is a single-pass type I transmembrane protein belonging to the type II cytokine receptor family.  IL22RA1 can form a heterodimer with IL10RB and with IL20RB. IL22 receptor is a protein complex that consists of IL22RA1 and IL10RB, a subunit also shared by the receptor complex for IL10. IL22 binding to the IL22RA:IL10RB heterodimer is greater than binding to IL22RA1 alone. The IL22RA1 and IL10RB dimer mediates IL22 signaling via JAK/STAT pathways. IL22 also induces activation of MAPK1/MAPK3 and Akt kinases pathways. The IL22RA1 and IL20RB dimer is the receptor for IL20 and IL24 which  also signal through JAK/STAT activation. IL22RA1 mediates IL24 anti-angiogenic activity as well as IL24 inhibitory effect on endothelial cell tube formation and differentiation.

Gene Symbol: IL22RA1; IL22R; CRF2-9; IL22R1; ZcytoR11

NCBI Gene ID: 58985

Uniprot Entry: Q8N6P7

Construct Details: Full length human IL22RA1 gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without a selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells.  It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.

Vector Type: pLTC or pLTC-IRES-Marker (lentiviral expression vector containing a heterologous CMV promoter +/- a selection marker, see the vector map above)

Formulation: Supplied with 10 μg of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA at 200 ng/μl in sterile TE buffer (pH8.0)

Primers: Gene insert coding sequence can be confirmed by following primers:

(a) forward (or 5'-end) primer: 5’-CAAATGGGCGGTAGGCGTG-3’;

(b) reverse (or 3'-end) primer: 5’-CCAGGTTTCCGGGCCCTCAC-3’

Note: The sequence may vary due to the naturally occurring variants or mutations, such as single nucleotide polymorphism, or the artifact during PCR amplification.  High fidelity PCR systems should always be used.
