Human IFNGR2/IFNGT1/AF1 Gene, Full-length cDNA Clone in Lentivector, Endotoxin-free DNA
IFNGR2 (interferon gamma receptor 2) is a single-pass type I transmembrane protein belonging to the type II cytokine receptor family. IFNGR2 is the non-ligand-binding (beta) chain and heterodimerizes with IFNGR1, the ligand-binding chain (alpha) to form the IFN-gamma receptor complex, which activates the JAK/STAT signaling pathway after ligand-binding. IFNGR2 is required for signal transduction in contrast to other IFNGR1 subunit responsible for ligand binding. Defects in IFNGR2 are a cause of mendelian susceptibility to mycobacterial disease (MSMD), also known as immunodeficiency 28 (IMD28) and familial disseminated atypical mycobacterial infection. MSMD is a genetically heterogeneous disease with autosomal recessive, autosomal dominant or X-linked inheritance.

Construct Details: Full length human IFNGR2 gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without a selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells. It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.
