Human CD300a/CLM8/IgSF12/CMRF35H Gene, Full-length cDNA in Lentivector, Endotoxin-free DNA
CD300a, CLM8 (CMRF35-like molecule 8) or IgSF12 is a 299 amino acid (aa) single pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the CD300 family of the Immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF). The CD300 family members contain a single Ig-like V-type domain and are found on leukocytes involved in immune response signaling pathways. CD300a contains an N-terminal signal peptide, a 163-aa extracellular domain (ECD) with 1 Ig-like V-type domain and 2 potential glycosylation sites, a transmembrane domain (TM), and a 98-aa cytoplasmic tail. CD300a is expressed not only by natural killer (NK) cells but also by T-cell subsets, B-cells, dendritic cells, mast cells, granulocytes and monocytes. CD300a acta as an inhibitory receptor which may contribute to the down-regulation of cytolytic activity in NK cells, and to the down-regulation of mast cell degranulation. It also negatively regulates the Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling mediated by MYD88.

Construct Details: Full length human CD300a gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without an antibiotic selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells. It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.
