FCAMR (Fc fragment of IgA and IgM receptor) or CD351 is a single pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the Immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF). FCAMR contains 1 Ig-like V-type domain in the extracellular region and acts as a receptor for the Fc fragment of IgA and IgM. FCAMR is expressed by mesangial cells and its expression is up-regulated by Interferon-gamma. FCAMR binds IgA and IgM with high affinity and mediates their endocytosis.FCAMR may function in the immune response to microbes mediated by IgA and IgM.

Construct Details: Full length human FCAMR gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without a selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells. It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.
