Human LILRA3/CD85e/LIR4/ILT6 Gene, Full-length cDNA Clone in Lentivector, Endotoxin-free DNA
LILRA3 (Leukocyte immunoglobulin like receptor A3), also known as CD85e and LIR4 (Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor 4), is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin (Ig)-like receptor (LIR) family of the Ig superfamily (IgSF). LIR family members are known to have activating and inhibitory functions in leukocytes. LILRA3 belongs to the subfamily A class of LIR receptors (LILRAs), which are single-pass type I transmembrane proteins with 2-4 extracellular Ig-like domains, a transmembrane domain (TM), and a short cytoplasmic tail. LILRA3 contains 4 Ig-like C2 type domains in the extracellular region. LILRA3 acts as a receptor for class I MHC antigens. LILRA3 binds both classical and non-classical HLA class I molecules but with reduced affinities compared to LILRB1 or LILRB2. LILRA3 binds with high affinity to the surface of monocytes, leading to abolish LPS-induced TNF-alpha production by monocytes.
Gene Symbol: LILRA3; LIR4; CD85E; LIR-4; ILT6; ILT-6; HM31; HM43
NCBI Gene ID: 11026
Uniprot Entry: Q8N6C8
Construct Details: Full length human LILRA3 gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells. It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles.
Vector Type: pLTC (lentiviral expression vector containing a heterologous CMV promoter and with or without a marker, see the vector map above)
Formulation: Supplied with 10 μg of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA at 200 ng/μl in sterile TE buffer (pH8.0)
Gene Insert Size: 1320 (bp)

Primers: Gene insert coding sequence can be confirmed by following primers:
(a) forward (or 5'-end) primer: 5’-CAAATGGGCGGTAGGCGTG-3’;
(b) reverse (or 3'-end) primer: 5’-CCAGGTTTCCGGGCCCTCAC-3’
Note: The sequence may vary due to the naturally occurring variants or mutations, such as single nucleotide polymorphism, or the artifact during PCR amplification. High fidelity PCR systems should always be used.
