ILDR1 (immunoglobulin (Ig)-like domain containing receptor 1) or angulin-2 belongs to the LISCH7 family of the Ig superfamily (IgSF).  ILDR1 is a single-pass type I transmembrane proteins with an extracellular domain containing an Ig-like V-type motif, a transmembrane domain (TM), and a cytoplasmic tail enriched with basic/acidic/polar residues.  ILDR1 may function as a multimeric receptor at the cell surface and maintain epithelial barrier function by recruiting MARVELD2/tricellulin to tricellular tight junctions (tTJs).  ILDR1 may also mediate fatty acids and lipoproteins-stimulated CCK/cholecystokinin secretion in the small intestine.  The expression of ILDR1 may be a diagnostic marker for cancer progression.

Construct Details: Full length human ILDR1 gene (encoding UniProt #Q86SU0-1) is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without a selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells.  It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.

Storage

 

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months. 

 

 

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
